Synopsis:
"I'm... scared..." Estelle faltered, her knees weaker by the second. How could anyone jump into that dark void---from a cliff to the unknown. She glanced behind, the fire had now swallowed the trees, getting bigger and bigger and heat continued to radiate from her forest.
Her home.
Her skin squirmed under the intense heat.
A lump rose to her throat, and an unnerving pain spread across her body. It was her fault the humans came burning her forest to the ground. It was her fault her friends sacrificed their lives to protect her.
It was her fault she's a unicorn.
Click clack click clack
Her hooves erratically hitting the ground, echoing through the dark. where else can she go? The fire slithered her way, menacing and deadly.
Estelle turned toward the void. She was never a brave unicorn, but she remembered her mother's last words...
"Don't be afraid."
